The day that so many people, young and old look forward to has arrived at last! Halloween. Originally celebrated as the festival of Samhain to mark the end of the pastoral cycle and a time to throw out the old and welcome the new, Halloween is also known for it’s spooky connotations whereby the doors into the netherworld are opened and spirits can access both worlds – OOohhh!
Here at Thomas Moore Tavern we use all local and seasonal ingredients so you can be sure to be tasting some of the very best from this years’ harvest over the coming weekend!
We’ll have entertainment nightly to get the spirits moving with the spootacularly delightful Emma Sutherland playing tonight from 9.30pm – LATE and Stuart Burns tomorrow and Sunday evening.
To all those who like to dress up – young and old- we wish you a very Spooktacular Halloween!
